Sr. Pauline Grenier, p.m (Sr. Suzanne de Rome), 96, of Sister of the Presentation Mary, died on October 9, 2025.
She was born on December 15, 1928 to Josephat and Corinne (Potvin) Grenier
She made her religious profession with the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary on February 1, 1958 and served in the congregation for 67 years.
Sr. Pauline earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Education at Rivier University in Nashua, NH and a Masters in Theology from St. Michael’s College in Winooski, Vermont.
She taught in various elementary schools in Massachusetts and Maine. For 15 years, she was a Catholic Christian Doctrine Coordinator in both Maine and Massachusetts. Sr. Pauline had great concern for the poor and needy and loved working at “Lazarus House” in Lawrence, MA, as often as she could. She was a team member at the Marie Joseph Spiritual Center in Biddeford, Maine.
She retired in St. Josephs Nursing Home in Biddeford, Maine in 2020 and, then to St. Joseph II Nursing Home in Manchester, NH, in 2024.
Sr. Pauline is pre-deceased by her parents, and her brothers, Ronald, Norman, Richard and her sister Muriel. She is mourned by many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, cousins and friends.
SERVICES: A visitation is on Wednesday (10/15) from 9:30 to 10:20 a.m. followed immediately at 10:30 a.m. by a Mass of Christian Burial, all at Resurrection Chapel of St. Marie Residence, 495 Mammoth Rd., Manchester. Private burial will be in Presentation of Mary Cemetery in Hudson.
In Lieu of flowers, donation may be made to the Presentation of Mary Retirement Fund, in Manchester, NH
