Sr. Rita Jasmin, pm (Sr. Marie-de-Gethsemani), 84, of the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary, died February 4, 2022 at her residence in Manchester.
She was born Woonsocket, RI on February 21m 1937 to Rosario and marguerite (Lepage) Jasmin. She made her religious profession on February 2, 1959.
Sr. Rita served as Director of Environmental Services at the provincial campus of the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary in Manchester. When available, she enjoyed helping at the local soup kitchen. She retired at St. Joseph Residence in Manchester in 2017.
She was predeceased by her parents: her brothers, Raymond and Normand Jasmin; and her sister, Sr. Florence Jasmin, pm.
She is survived by nieces and nephews.
SERVICES: A memorial service will be held at a later date. Private burial will be at Presentation of Mary Cemetery in Hudson.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Presentation of Mary Retirement Fund, 495 Mammoth Rd., Manchester, NH 03104.
