Sr. Therese Caron, CSC, (Sr. Paul Germaine), 78, of the Sisters of Holy Cross, Manchester died April 3, 2017 at her residence after a brief illness.
She was born in Somersworth on December 14, 1938 to Jean Paul and Germaine (Plante) Caron. She entered the Congregation of the Sisters of Holy Cross in 1958 and made her final profession in 1965. She served the Congregation for 59 years.
Sr. Therese served in many capacities as a Sister of Holy Cross. Among them, she was a teacher, driver, dietician, licensed nurse aide and licensed practical nurse. She was also a charge nurse to patients of St. Joseph Residence of the Presentation of Mary Sisters in Manchester. Until very recently, she was a visiting angel through Visiting Angels Homecare of Auburn.
She was predeceased by her parents and a brother, Jean Paul Caron, Jr.
The family includes two sisters, Cecile Houde of Eliot, ME and Rita Pouliot of Florida and several nieces and nephews.
All services were held on Friday, April 7, 2017 in the chapel at the Sisters of Holy Cross, 357 Island Pond Rd., Manchester. They began with a visitation period, then a prayer service followed by a Mass of Christian Burial.
