Sr. Therese Lefebvre

Sister Therese Lefebvre, pm, (Sr. Ste. Marie Celine), 99, of the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary, died July 27, 2022 at her residence in Manchester.

She was born in Biddeford, ME on March 6, 1923, the daughter of Leonide and Cesarine (Nadeau) Lefebvre.  She made her Religious Profession on July 26, 1943.

Sister Therese obtained a B.Ed. from Catholic Teacher’s College in RI and a M.Ed. from Rivier University in NH.  She taught in various elementary schools in RI and NH and taught in Our Lady of the Mtns. Academy in Gorham, NH.  For six years she was a General Councilor in Rome, Italy, after which she served on the Rivier University Board of Trustees in Nashua, NH.  She also helped in various community services, until she retired at St. Joseph I in 1994 and at St. Joseph II in Manchester in 2018.

She is predeceased by her parents, her brothers Leonide, Gerard, Marc-Edward and Albert and her sisters, Emerentinne, Francoise and Gertrude.  She is mourned by her brothers, Andre, Bernard and Mary Anne Lefebvre and her sisters, Mrs. Lucille Bonsaint and Sr. Celine Lefebvre, pm.

Private burial will be at Presentation of Mary Cemetery, Hudson, NH.
