He was born in Manchester on May 3, 1936 to Stanley and Genevieve (Gorczyka) Jaskolka Sr. He graduated from Bishop Bradley High School in 1954 and was a lifelong resident of Manchester. He also wintered in Nokomis, FL for many years.
Stanley worked as a sanitarian for the City of Manchester Health Department for 33 years and retired in 1998. In his younger years, he was an auto mechanic.
He was a fan of, and enjoyed watching, NASCAR.
The family includes his wife of 58 years, Jeanne P. (Dubois) Jaskolka of Manchester; three children, Jay M. Jaskolka and his wife, Kim, of Sarasota, FL, Kevin J. Jaskolka and his wife, Robyn, of Bow and Kim Potter and her companion, Christopher Waterman, of West Pawlet, VT; a brother, Frederick Jaskolka and his wife, Winona, of Hernando, FL; an aunt, Genevieve Gorczyka of Manchester; and cousins, nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Friday, May 8, 2015 at St. Hedwig Church, corner of Beech and Orange streets, Manchester. Committal prayers followed at St. Hedwig Cemetery, Donald Street, Bedford.
