Stanley A. Stefanik, 80, of Manchester, NH died November 27th, 2005 at a local healthcare facility.
He was born in Manchester on June 19th, 1925, the son of Frank and Balbina (Bigos) Stefanik. He was educated in the local schools and graduated from Manchester High School Central. During WWII, he served in the US Air Force.
Prior to retirement, he had been a management official for the US Postal Service. After retirement, he had worked as a bartender at Angelo's Restaurant in Manchester. He was a member of the American Legion Henry J. Sweeney Post #2 and enjoyed gardening and traveling.
His wife Nellie (Girolimon) Stefanik predeceased him in 2002.
Members of his family include three sons, John Stefanik of Hooksett, Brian Stefanik and Edward Stefanik, both of Manchester; one daughter, Mrs. Richard (Brenda) Gurall of Loudon, NH; 9 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; one brother, Henry Stefanik of Manchester; nephews and nieces.
The funeral service was held on Wednesday November 30, 2005 in the Lambert Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bedford.
