Stephen J. Demers, 56, of Tampa, FL died on Wednesday April 27, 2022 after an illness.
He was born in Manchester, NH on September 21, 1965 to Rene & Judith (Orzechowski) Demers. He attended Manchester schools and was a proud member of the Memorial class of '83 where he was a 3 sport athlete. Steve excelled in Soccer, Track and Baseball. He then graduated with his Bachelor's degree from the University of New Hampshire where he was a member of the Acacia Brothers Fraternity. There he earned the nickname of "Sleepy" for his affinity for cat naps.
Stephen was an avid sports fan, especially soccer. He loved racing, including going to the races at Sebring and Daytona. He also had a love for photography where he had the chance to photograph many sports events including being on the sidelines at the Pat's & Buc's games. He was also famous for his action shots at the races.
Stephen was a NH guy at heart but found a love of Tampa where he lived for over 25 years. He met many friends and co-workers in the Tampa area that will miss him dearly.
Stephen is survived by his sister Karen Bozoian & her husband Tom of Manchester; nephews Matthew Bozoian & Scott Bozoian, his significant other Angela Amis of Tampa Florida.
SERVICES: Calling hours are Thursday May 5th from 4 pm to 6 pm at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester. A service will follow at 6:00 pm in the funeral home.
