He grew up in Lexington and was a graduate of Lexington High School. He served in the United States Navy from 1975 to his honorable discharge in 1978.
He will be remembered as a great protector of his friends and family.
Family members include his girl friend Julianne Bitzer, of Manchester; his siblings, Diane Celata, of MA, Ellen LaPierre, of MA, Brian Stacey, of Manchester, Kevin Stacey, of Salem, Tricia Spinazzola and her husband Bob, of MA; his mother, formerly of Lexington; nieces and nephews, Rachel, Christopher, Katie, David, Daniel, Leah, Beth, Kathleen, Jack, Little Christopher. He was predeceased by his father Francis Stacey.
A Service of Remembrance took place on Friday, December 9, 2011 at Lambert Funeral Home and Crematory, 1799 Elm St. Manchester.
In Lieu of Flowers memorial donations may be made to the Palliative Care Unit of the Manchester Veterans Hospital 718 Smyth Rd. Manchester, NH, 03104.
