Stephen Adrian Tomsic

June 20, 1933 — March 10, 2022

Stephen Adrian Tomsic, 88, of Manchester NH, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2022 at Jack Byrne Hospice House, with his wife Mary Ann and daughter Eva by his side.

Due to restrictions of Covid-19, other family members were not allowed.

Stephen was born in Chicago IL on June 20, 1933, the son of the late George and Teresa Tomsic.
He was a graduate of St. Procopius High School in Lisle, IL and earned his Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from I.I.T. in Chicago IL. He then went on to earn his Masters of Science degree in Metallurgical Engineering from Lehigh University, Pennsylvania.

Stephen served Full Time in the US Army from June 1951 to August 1953, and in the Reserves until June 25, 1955. He then spent his entire career working as an Electrical Engineer for AT&T & other companies, before retiring in 1988.

Stephen had a passion for computers and creating computer programs, such as one that solved Sudoku puzzles. He was very creative and enjoyed writing stories. Stephen was highly intelligent and was invited to join Mensa as well. He was hard working, very kind, generous, practical and had an incredible sense of humor. Above all else, he will be remembered as a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.

Surviving family members include his wife of 60 years, Mary Ann C. (Sporer) Tomsic of Manchester; four children: Mari J. Fecarotta & husband Bobby of Hoffman Estates IL, son Edward F. Tomsic, daughter Eva M. Burnham of Concord NH, son George P. Tomsic & wife Murielle of Manchester NH;
four grandchildren: Jessica M. Burnham of Concord NH, Kyle A. Tomsic of Lexington Kentucky, Jacob D. Burnham of Concord NH, and Jayde E. Burnham & fiancé Ian Zaczyk of Chipley FL; one sister: Eva M. Tomsic of Atlanta GA; Sister-In-Law Joan Nagel & her husband Jim of Waukesha WI, and numerous nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by both parents.

SERVICES: All services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St Catherine of Sienna Parish, 207 Hemlock St., Manchester NH 03104. Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
