Steven R. Riley, 63, of New Boston, passed away at his residence on January 29, 2021.
Born in Manchester on July 15, 1957, he was the son of Roger E. and Theresa M. (Lavery) Riley. He was a graduate of Manchester High School West and worked as a carpenter, alongside his father, for Tarr Construction for many years.
Steven was an avid coin collector, a highly competitive tennis player and bowler. He enjoyed the great outdoors and spent his free time skiing, hiking and golfing. He was also known for his craftmanship and was always willing to lend a hand to those in need. His beloved dog Dora supported him and we are certain they are together again. Steven was always there for his parents and for his children. Above all else, he will be remembered as a loving son, father, grandfather, brother and uncle.
Family members include his parents, Roger and Theresa Riley of Hooksett; three daughters, Heather Riley of Manchester, Stephanie Maloney and husband Steve of Manchester and Amy Lawn and husband Dan of Hawaii; six grandchildren, Ayden, Ashlyn, Cora, Quinn, Maryn, Tessa, and another grandson on the way; one brother, Michael Riley of Florida; one sister, Sherri Crain and husband John of Manchester; his nephew Tyler, and niece Sarah.
Due to restrictions of COVID, all services will be private to family only. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: New Hampshire Humane Society, 104 Portsmouth Ave., Stratham, NH 03885.
