Susan B. Bennett

d. June 29, 2018

Susan B. (LeClair) Bennett, 68, of Bedford, loving wife of Raymond "Ken" Bennett Jr., passed away on June 29, 2018 at her home after a long illness.

Born in Rochester, she was the eldest daughter of the late Richard and Virginia (Reid) LeClair. She was a graduate of Spaulding High School in Rochester in 1968, earned a Bachelor's Degree in Education from Plymouth State University in 1972 and a Master's Degree in Administration from the University of New Hampshire.

Susan was a 5th grade teacher with the Hooksett School District where she loved her work, her colleagues and teaching the children.

Always quick with her wit, she brought laughter into the lives of her friends and family, sharing a kind thought with others who were going through difficult times or illness, always believing that someone else needed more help than herself. She loved to read, crochet afghans, travel, spend time at the lake and the ocean and share a lunch with friends.

In addition to her husband, she leaves to mourn her loss a loving brother, Richard LeClair II and wife, Lori, of Berwick, ME; two sisters, Margo McGovern and husband, Michael, of Winthrop, MA and Roxanne Shea and husband, Michael, of Alton; many loving and caring nieces and nephews and a brother-in-law, Frank Bennett and wife, Kathleen, of Marlboro, MA
