Susan C. Boulanger, 65, of Manchester, died September 14, 2017, at Catholic Medical Center, after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Manchester on February 16, 1952, she was the daughter of Raoul J. and Florence T. (Huot) Montplaisir. She was a graduate of Manchester Memorial High School, class of 1970, and a lifelong resident of the Queen City.
Susan devoted her life to caring for her family and spending as much time with her children and grandchildren as possible. She loved the beach and vacationing with her family in Maine every summer. She was a warm, caring and generous woman with a truly beautiful soul. She welcomed all that she encountered with open arms. Susan was extremely brave and would want those who are also "fighting for a cure" to be brave and to know that there is hope. Above all she will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter-in-law, aunt and friend.
Family includes her husband of 45 years, Richard L. Boulanger of Manchester; two children, Shawn M. Boulanger of Pelham, and Lisa A. Labreche and husband Eric of Hooksett; four grandchildren, Kyle, Derek, Grace and Sawyer; sister, Helen Somers and husband David of Manchester; brother Robert Montplaisir and wife Diane of Manchester; mother-in-law, Marion Leclerc of Manchester; and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 172 Belmont St., Manchester. Committal Prayers followed in the mausoleum at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Susan's name may be made to: American Cancer Society, 2 Commerce Dr., Suite 110, Bedford, NH 03110.
