Susan Kathleen (Lahive) Columbus, 68, of Manchester, NH died October 5th, 2016 after a period of declining health.
Born in Quincy, MA on July 7th, 1948, she was the daughter of Paul and Rose (Foster) Lahive. She graduated from North Quincy High School class of 1966 and earned a degree in Retail Design from Lasalle College in Newton.
Before retirement, Susan had worked for the Quincy Public School System as a bus driver for over 30 years.
Susan enjoyed decorating, reading a good mystery and following the New England Patriots. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be greatly missed.
Family members include her daughters, Amy Signore and husband Nick of Austin, TX, Michelle Leonard and husband Michael of Manchester; her son, Jonathan Columbus and wife Suzannah of Bridgewater, MA; her grandchildren, Elijah, Alex, and Tessa Signore, Makena and Teddy Columbus, Jake, Ryan, Gabriella and Sophia Leonard; her siblings, Patty Kearns, Jimmy Lahive and Karen Lahive. Susan also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who she loved dearly.
A brief memorial service was held on Sunday, October 9, 2016 at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St,, Manchester.
