Susan L. Conlon

 Susan L. (Cramer) Conlon, age 73, passed away December 31, 2024 at Hillsborough Nursing Home in Goffstown, NH. She was born November 9, 1951 in Winchester, MA to Catherine S. and Harry R. Cramer, and grew up in Longmeadow, MA. 

She earned a B.A. in Education from Alfred University in 1973. In 1975, she married Richard A. Conlon and moved to Manchester, NH where she first worked as a substitute teacher, and then as the manager of a women’s clothing store. She found her calling, though, in banking, eventually becoming the bank manager of a federal credit union in Nashua, NH where, with her wonderfully dry wit, and her kind and helpful words, she developed an extended family of staff and friends before retiring in 2013. 

With her husband Rich and their friends, Sue loved the adventures that came with travelling to places near and far. Surrounded by trees, and her birds and squirrels, she enjoyed being a homebody just as much. She was an avid reader, and loved her cats and all of the comfort and joys they brought her through the years. 

Sue is survived by her husband Rich, a brother Steven D. Cramer of Long Island City, NY, sister Judith A. Cramer of Bradenton, FL, and many beloved friends. 

She is finally at peace after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s disease. A Celebration of Life will be held in the spring with burial at the Veteran’s National Cemetery in Boscawen, NH to follow.
