Teresa J. Walwyn

She was born in East Boston on June 24, 1939, the daughter of Joseph Gueli and Helena (Pauletta) Cammisa. She graduated from East Boston High School and attended Suffolk Law School prior to raising her family.

She and her husband Mervyn Walwyn owned and operated their own insurance company for many years prior to retirement.

Teresa enjoyed spending time at the lake, playing cards, and traveling with her husband. Above all else, she will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren.

Her husband Mervyn Walwyn predeceased her in 2002.

Family members include her daughters, Mia Ricci Dickson and husband Jason of Bedford, Joya Walwyn-Shaheen and husband Michael of Bedford; her grandchildren, Chase Baroody, Gianna Shaheen, Ivy-Grace Dickson, and Helena "Gussie" Shaheen; her brother, John Gueli and fiancee Judy Green of Pembroke, NH; her aunt and best friend, Angie Gambardella of Wolfeboro, NH; many cousins and dear friends.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Friday, March 7, 2014 in St. Anthony Church, Revere, MA. Burial followed in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett, MA.
