Thaddeus "Ted" J. Jakobiec, 75, of Manchester, died May 22, 2021 after a period of declining health.
Born in Manchester on May 16, 1946, he was the son of Thaddeus J. and Beatrice (Lydon) Jakobiec, Sr. He attended Crotched Mountain School and was a lifelong resident of the Queen City. Ted was employed by the New Hampshire Association for the Blind for many years.
Ted lived at Villa Crest Nursing and Retirement Center for 17 years and was very active in the community. He enjoyed trips and was looking forward to the annual visit to the beach. Ted enjoyed music and loved dancing. He was a warm and friendly man and will be deeply missed by the Villa Crest Community.
Ted is predeceased by his parents and his brother, Dr. Frederick A. Jakobiec.
A memorial Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 1st at 10am at St. Pius X Church, Candia Road. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bedford.
