Thayne Turner

She was born in Weymouth, MA December 24, 1916 the daughter of Thomas and Mary Ellen (Crumbie) Moffitt. She lived most of her life in Manchester.

She worked at Waumbec Mills and also worked at Alexander's and Hannaford's Supermarkets for many years.

She was married 53 years to George R. Turner who died in 1988.

Family members include three children, Robert Turner of Manchester, Mary Ellen Nelson of Bedford and Fred Turner and his wife Lori of Hooksett; five grandchildren; several great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; nieces and nephews.

The funeral was held on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester. Burial was in Pine Grove Cemetery.
