Thelma M. Roberts

Thelma M. Robert, 85, of Manchester, died November 11, 2001, at Integrated Health Services in Manchester, after a lengthy illness.

Born in Exeter, NH January 20, 1916, she was the daughter of John and Virginia (Sarette) Page. She lived most of her life in Manchester.

Mrs. Roberts worked at Amoskeag Mills and Chicopee Mills. She also worked for a time at Belmont Hall.

She was a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church, and a member of St. Anne's Society.

She enjoyed fishing, embroidery, and baking.

She was married to Emile L. Cloutier, who died in 1967, and Ernest A. Roberts, who died in 1988.

Family members include four daughters, Lorraine Stott of Cumberland, Rim Jeannette Corson of Wolfeboro, NH, Therese Cloutier of Weimar, CA, and Gloria Sommer of Seattle, WA; two sons, Wilfred "Bill" Cloutier of Houston, TX, and Richard Cloutier of Manchester; 20 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Calling hours were November 13, 2001 at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North St.

A mass of Christian burial was celebrated November 14, 2001 in Blessed Sacrament Church. Burial was in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
