He was born in Manchester June 10, 1917 the son of Frank and Nora (Bara) Zapora. He had been a Hooksett resident most of his life.
He served in the US Army Air Corps during World War II and flew 30 missions. He was a shot down during the Battle of the Bulge.
Mr. Zapora owned and operated Zapora Motor Transport for many years.
He was a member of St. Catherine Church; Knights of Columbus Council 4961; and a charter member of the Fr. Langlois Council.
He was predeceased by a daughter, Barbara Jean Zapora.
He leaves his wife of 62 years, Barbara (Tuerk) Zapora of Hooksett; a son, Thomas Zapora and his wife, Linda, of Auburn; three grandchildren, Taylor Zapora of Boston, MA, Alexander Zapora and Kelsey Zapora, both of Auburn; many nieces and nephews.

Encryptment will be in Mt. Calvary Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown, Rd., Manchester, where a committal service will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 24th at 11:30 a.m.
