Theresa L. Bourque

Theresa L. Bourque, 90, of Litchfield, CT, died May 13, 2017 at Brandywine Assisted Living, Litchfield, Ct.
Born in Manchester on July 21, 1926, she was the fourth of seven children born to Romeo and Eugenie (Talbot) LaRochelle.
In 2010, Terry moved to Brandywine Assisted Living in Litchfield, CT to be near her daughter, Janine. She was active in her church choir and as a reader. She sang with the Sweet Adelines, and was a seasoned actress and costumer with the Silver Stars acting troupe that performed regionally. Terry enjoyed her role as mother and homemaker, and worked as a Fuller Brush Lady, home health aide, and census taker. At eighty-three, she retired from Hannaford's Supermarket in Goffstown, NH. Her favorite cause, into which she put much of her time and effort, was helping young mothers in need. She provided homemade baby quilts, baby clothing, and baby furniture to various local organizations to distribute.
Theresa was predeceased by her husband George "Andy" Bourque in 2007.
She is survived by two sisters, Jackie Lessard of Canada, and Sue Audy of Florida; one brother, Robert LaRochelle and wife, Carmelle of Bedford, NH; nine children, Joanne Fitzimmons of TX, Ronald Bourque of CA, Eugene Bourque of Boquette, Panama, Janine Shailer of CT, Jean-Pierre Bourque of NH, Marie Peterson of CA, Bernard Bourque of CA, Rene Bourque of CA, and Annette Boyd of FL, and their spouses. She also leaves behind 19 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 3 great, great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
SERVICES: Calling hours are 6:30 to 8:00 pm on Sunday, June 11th in Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North St., Manchester. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am on Monday, June 12th at Sacred Heart Church, 265 S. Main St., Manchester. Burial will follow at 12 pm in NH State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen.
