Theresa E. Moriarty

Theresa E. Moriarty, 91, of Manchester, NH passed away peacefully on November 28, 2021 in Goffstown, NH. She had been cared for and lovingly surrounded by family at her daughter's home during her final weeks.

Theresa was born on August 16, 1930 in Goffstown, the daughter of Oswald and Isabel (LaDuke) Martel. She was the widow of Neil E. Moriarty to whom she had been married 39 years, at the time of his passing in 1987.

She took pride in her home and loved taking care of her beautiful flower gardens and watching the birds at her bird feeder. Family was very important to Theresa. She was a caring and supportive mother, daughter, sister, and friend. Her greatest joy, however, was being "Gram". Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were blessed to have her support, confidence and love.

Theresa leaves behind her son, Robert Moriarty and wife Ann of Haverhill, MA; a daughter, Joan Chretien and husband Denis of Goffstown; brother, Francis Martel of Manchester, NH and son-in-law Ronald Provencher of Manchester, NH; her beloved grandchildren include Matthew Robinson, Julie Boire and husband Jeff, Cheryl Thellen, Megan Janvrin and husband Nicholas, Jason Azotea, Nicholas Azotea, Andrew Chretien and fiancé Emily Meinertz, and Grady Chretien; her great-grandchildren include Jakob and Javin Boire, Molly and Garrett Janvrin and Moriah Thellen. She also leaves several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Theresa was predeceased by daughters Patricia Provencher and Nancy Azotea, son-in-law Michael Azotea, and brother Oswald Martel Jr.

There are no public calling hours. A committal service will be held on Thursday, December 2nd at 12:30 pm in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Road, Manchester.
