She was born in Manchester November 28, 1929 and was the daughter of Henry and Rose (Perreault) Gagne. She graduated from St. Joseph High School for Girls in 1947.She lived in Bedford for several years and had been a Manchester resident most of her life.
She and her husband owned and operated Samson Insurance Agency for many years.
She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church where she was a member of the Sodality of St. Anne.
She was a member of the Catholic War Veterans Auxiliary and had served as president of Post 1403 for two years. She was also a member of Post 1624, Ramsey Unit and had served the CWV at the state level.
She leaves her husband of 62 years, Fernand A. Samson of Bedford; two daughters, Jacqueline L. Koch of Massachusetts and Diane M. Simoneau of Goffstown; three sons, Richard A. Samson of Manchester, Robert G. Samson of Pembroke and Daniel D. Samson of North Kingstown, R.I.; 11 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; two sisters, Jeanne Gourde of Manchester and Claire Soucy, of Hooksett; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Robert M. Samson.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Monday, July 9, 2012 at Sacred Heart Church. Encryptment followed in Mount Calvary Mausoleum.
