Therese M. Demers

Born on July 21, 1923 in Manchester, she was the daughter of Hector and Laura (Pellissier) Demers. She was educated in the local parochial schools and graduated from St. George High School.

Prior to retirement, she had been employed as an office clerk with Metropolitan Life Insurance Company for many years.

She was a longtime communicant of St. Anthony Parish.

Therese will be remembered as a loving and devoted daughter, sister and aunt who cherished time with family. She was truly proud of her family and selflessly gave support and encouragement whenever needed.

Family members include three brothers, Roland Demers and wife Inez of Manchester, Gerard "Gerry" Demers and wife Lorraine of Manchester, Rev. Fr. Francis Demers, OMI, of Tewksbury, MA; nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 in St. Teresa Health Care Center, 519 Bridge St, Manchester. Committal prayers followed at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Road.
