She was born in Manchester on September 4, 1920, the daughter of Louis H. and Aurore (Duff) Keroack. She was educated in the local Catholic school system and was a member of the first graduating class at St. Anthony High School's four-year degree program in 1938.
During WWII she was an aircraft mechanic at Grenier Field in Manchester.
Prior to retirement, she had been employed as a secretary for the Hillsborough County Probate Court. Previously, she had worked at W.T. Grant's Department Store and Paul Revere Insurance Company.
A devout Catholic, she had been a longtime communicant of St. Anthony of Padua Church.
She was an avid reader, excelled at crosswords and loved cats. Most of all, she will be remembered as a loving daughter, sister, and aunt.
Family members include her sister, Sr. Yvette Keroack, CSC, of Manchester; many nephews and nieces.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Wednesday, January 19, 2011 by the Rev. Bruce W. Collard. Burial followed in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Sisters of Holy Cross Development Fund, 377 Island Pond Road, Manchester, NH 03109.
