Therese M. Duval

She was born in Manchester on August 15, 1923 to Napoleon and Beatrice (Frechette) Cormier. She attended St. Augustin Grammar School and was a lifelong resident of Manchester.

Therese enjoyed spending time with her family, taking trips with her husband, Henry and working in her garden.

She was a gifted seamstress and was a member of the Heritage Quilters Guild.

The family includes two children, Carmel Duval of Goffstown and Paul Duval of North Carolina; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; a brother, Raymond Cormier of Portsmouth; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by her husband, Henry P. Duval in 2007; a daughter, Jeanine McGuire in 1992; and a son, Roger Duval in 2011.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 in St. Catherine Church, 225 Hemlock St., corner of Webster Street, Manchester. Committal prayers followed at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester, NH.
