Therese J. (Theriault) St. Laurent, 89, of Manchester, died January 30, 2016 at Southern NH Medical Center, surrounded by her family, after a brief illness.
She was born in Berlin on January 2, 1927 to Alphonse and Delia (Patry) Theriault. She lived in Berlin and Manchester for many years.
Therese was a former president of several groups including the Ladies of St. Anne at Sacred Heart Parish, the Catholic War Veterans NH Department, Unit 1749 and the Varney School Tenants Association. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Society and was active with the bereavement committee at Sacred Heart Parish. She was a very outgoing person who was well known for her delicious fudge. She also enjoyed, crafts, playing Bingo and volunteering her time to any cause related to children, her church and veterans groups. She was recognized nationally by the Catholic War Veterans with the St. Agnes Award.
She was predeceased by her husband of 35 years, Lionel St. Laurent in 1988 and by 14 siblings.
The family includes three children, Andre St. Laurent and wife, Diane, of Manchester, Henri St. Laurent and wife, Rose, of Okeechobee, FL and Lucille Quattrucci and husband, Gene, of Hudson; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at Sacred Heart Church, 265 So. Main St., Manchester. Committal prayers followed at Mt. Calvary Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
