He received his early education in Lowell schools, and was a member of the Class of 1952 of Norwich Academy. Following a tour with the United States Army, Thomas worked for the Travelers Insurance Company in the greater Boston area. .
For Tom it was all about family. He was the youngest of eleven children, and enjoyed spending time near the shore. He had a warm and friendly personality, as well as a great sense of humor. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
Family members include his children, Anne Weidacher, of Effingham, Peggy Bagshaw, of Farmington, Kari Charles, of MA, "TC" Chavaree, of Madbury, Thomas Bagshaw, of Laconia; a grandson Jack Charles; 2 sisters, Vickey Barton, of OH, Catharine Foley, of ME; his wife of eleven years, Isabelle Moore; her children, Stephen, Ann, Christopher, Katie, Mary; a predeceased son Thomas in 2003; He was predeceased by his first wife Lillian (Verett) Bagshaw in 1964, and his second wife, Asta (Moore) Bagshaw, in 1994.
A funeral Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Seton Church, Meetinghouse Rd. Bedford.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
