He was born in Manchester on August 2, 1943, the son of James J. and Dorothy (Thompson) Connors. He was a 1962 graduate of Memorial High School and received his bachelor's degree from Plymouth State College in 1969. He earned his master's degree in administration from Plymouth State in 1970.
Prior to retirement, he had been a teacher and assistant principal at Green Acres School. He was also the former owner and director of Melody Pines Day Camp in Manchester.
Tom loved to golf, play bridge, and enjoyed boating. He loved more than anything spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Family members include his wife of 41 years, Mary (Dominick) Connors of Manchester and Pompano Beach; three sons, Todd D. Connors and his wife Heidi of Manchester; Robert A. Connors and his wife Jill of Manchester, Stephen T. Connors and his wife Erika of Manchester; eight grandchildren, Gresham, Lela, August, Stella, Sean, Colin, Jacqueline, and Scott Connors, all of Manchester; four brothers, Gerald Connors of Phoenix, Neil Connors of Meredith, John Connors of Camarillo, CA, and Tee Connors of Manchester; two sisters, Carol Jones of Burbank, CA, and Mary Kishbaugh of Hampton, NH; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by one brother James J. Connors.
The funeral service was Friday, January 16, 2008 in St. Catherine of Siena Church. Burial followed in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bedford.
