He was born in Providence, RI on September 15, 1944, the son of Fred and Dorothy (Larkin) Lolicata. He attended St. Joseph Grammar School, Bishop Bradley High School and St. Anselm College.
Four years ago, Tom retired as director of the City of Manchester's Traffic Department, where he was employed for 43 years.
Tom was an avid fan of all New England sports. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing with his family in Pittsburg, NH. He was always ready to lend a helping hand and gave generously to numerous local charitable organizations. Above all else, he loved spending time with his family.
He was a lifelong communicant of St. Joseph Cathedral and a member of League of 1000 Men of the Precious Blood Monastery.
Family members include two sons, Michael T. Lolicata and his wife Sharon of Manchester, Timothy J. Lolicata of Manchester; two granddaughters, Lauren and Cailie Lolicata, both of Manchester; one brother, Paul Lolicata of Manchester; one nephew, Matt Lolicata of Manchester; his longtime companion, Mercedes Sierra of Manchester; his former wife, Mary Leonard of Manchester; many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Wednesday, September 29, 2010 in St. Joseph Cathedral. Burial followed in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bedford.
