Thomas P. Shea

January 24, 1961 — October 3, 2022

Thomas Patrick “Tom” Shea, 61, of Manchester passed away all too soon, but peacefully on Monday, October 03, 2022, after a long illness.

Tom worked hard his whole life, providing for his family by doing what he loved to do.  He was a master carpenter, and a longtime member of the Mass State Carpenters Union, taking great pride in pointing out housing and condo units that he and his fellow union members had a hand in building.  But first and foremost, he was a family man, and a great friend to all who knew him. He was always there for family, neighbors and friends and there wasn’t a favor he wouldn’t do. Most importantly, he was a wonderful father, and devoted to his children’s happiness.

Tom was the beloved son of Mary A Shea and the late Richard F. Shea of Arlington, MA. He will be missed dearly by his former wife and loving friend, Jane Shea (Cormier) of Laconia, and the children they shared, James Ghent of Nashua, Manda Jane Johnson and her husband Rory Johnson of Manchester, Michael Thomas Shea of Manchester, John Blouin Shea and his wife Jamey of Merrimack, and Michael Blouin Shea of Arlington, MA.  Tom was a devoted grandfather to Riley, Rayna, and Rocky Johnson, and Nathan Shea.

He is survived by his sisters, Patricia Shea of Haverhill MA, and Joan Doane of Arlington, MA, and his brothers Daniel Shea and his spouse Jack Klaus of Johnston RI, Dennis Shea and his partner Karen Schneller of North Reading MA, and Christopher Shea and his spouse Joseph Daley of Los Angeles CA as well as nephews, great nephews, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Tom is also pre-deceased by a cherished sister, Maureen Blouin and her husband, John Blouin.

Tom’s family will be holding a private service and would appreciate donations made in his memory to the charity of your choice.   Lambert Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
