Timothy J. Lyon

He was born in Reading, MA, March 3, 1950 and was the son of the late Roger A. and Edith K. (Dutra) Lyon. He lived in Litchfield for 24 years before moving to Manchester five years ago.

Mr. Lyon worked for Anheuser Busch Co. for many years.

He loved fishing, was an avid Red Sox fan and enjoyed playing chess and cards. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family. He also enjoyed time spent at Old Orchard Beach, Maine where he had summered for many years.

He leaves his wife of 38 years, Katherine M. (Rafferty) Lyon of Manchester; three children, Timothy J. Lyon Jr. of Covington, GA, Karen E. Martinez and Jason P. Lyon, both of Manchester; 6 grandchildren; one great grandchild; three brothers, David Lyon of Windham, NH, Daniel Lyon of Florida, and Roger Lyon of Stoneham, MA; three sisters, Diana Blanchard of Limington, ME, Virginia Lyon of Westbrook, ME and Edith Murphy of Massachusetts; many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a sister, Joan Gagne.

The funeral was held Saturday, July 4, 2009 in the funeral home.

Burial was at the convenience of the family.
