Unisa Bangura, a devoted husband, loving father, loyal friend, and compassionate human being, passed away leaving behind a legacy rooted in love, kindness, and service to others.
Unisa was, above all else, a good person. He lived his life with an open heart and an unwavering sense of care for those around him — including people he did not know. He helped quietly, showed up without being asked, and treated others with respect and dignity simply because that was who he was. To many, he was a hero in ways that may never make headlines but will never be forgotten.
He was deeply loved and loved deeply in return. Unisa held a strong and tender love for his mother and father, always cherishing his relationship with them. He was also a devoted brother to his two siblings — his sister and his brother — who meant the world to him. Family was never an afterthought to Unisa; it was a priority and a source of pride.
He loved his own family deeply. Unisa and his wife, Shamecca, shared two beautiful children together, and he cherished his role as their father. He also had two stepchildren whom he loved, supported, and treated as his own, as well as a step-granddaughter who brought him joy and laughter. To Unisa, love wasn’t separated by blood — it was embraced, nurtured, and given freely.
He embraced Shamecca’s family fully as his own, showing up with loyalty, warmth, and genuine care.
To his wife, Shamecca, Unisa was a great husband and true partner. What she loved most about him was that he loved like she did — fully, selflessly, and without conditions. Their bond was built on mutual respect, laughter, teamwork, and unwavering support. He believed in her, stood beside her, and shared a love that was real, deep, and rare.
After moving to New Hampshire, the number of friends Unisa made was truly amazing. He built meaningful connections wherever he went, forming friendships rooted in loyalty, laughter, and genuine care. He loved his friends deeply, and they loved him just as deeply in return. Those friendships became family, and the love shared between them speaks volumes about the kind of man Unisa was.
Unisa also had a deep love for his two dogs, who brought him joy, companionship, and purpose. They kept him walking, moving, and grounded, and were an important part of his daily life and happiness.
Unisa had a gift for making people feel seen and valued. He carried a calming presence and a generous spirit that left lasting impressions on everyone he encountered. In a world that can often feel heavy, Unisa was light.
He is survived by his wife, Shamecca; his children, Jazmen, Sincere, Sanaii and E; his parents, Unisa Sr. and Mariatu; his brother, Sahid; his sister, Manisa; his mother-in-law, Sandra; two brother-in-laws, Greg and Derrick; uncle Wayne and the rest of his extended family; his beloved dogs; his many friends in New Hampshire and beyond; and a wide circle of community members whose lives were touched by his kindness and generosity.
Though Unisa’s physical presence is no longer with us, his love remains — in the hearts he touched, the lives he helped, and the family and friendships he cherished. His legacy is love, compassion, and quiet strength.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
