Victor W. Dahar, Sr. passed away unexpectedly on December 16, 2024. He was born in Nashua, New Hampshire on January 5, 1930.
He was the son of Saheed W. and Mercedes S. Dahar, of Manchester, New Hampshire.
Victor is a graduate of Boston College Law School and he joined the New Hampshire Bar Association in 1958. Victor opened his law practice in Manchester, NH where he practiced law for 66 years and was joined by three of his children. He also served as a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Panel Trustee for the District of New Hampshire.
Victor was a member of the Optimist Club and the Knights of Columbus and was active with the March of Dimes and Easter Seals.
His passions were the practice of law and his family.
He is survived by his daughter, Attorney Eleanor Wm. Dahar of Manchester, his son, Attorney Victor W. Dahar, Jr. and his wife Candace and their two children Violet Byrne Dahar and Victor W. Dahar III of Manchester, his daughter Mercedes Wm. Dahar Dennehy, her husband Philip and their daughter Eleanor Wm. Dahar Dennehy all of Boston, Massachusetts, and his son, Attorney S. William Dahar II (Sy) and his wife, Hannah and their son, Robert S.P. Dahar of Manchester.
He was predeceased by his wife Eleanor M. Dahar and his parents.
SERVICES: There are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am on Saturday at St. Joseph Cathedral, 145 Lowell St., corner of Pine St., Manchester, NH 03103. Committal prayers to follow in the mausoleum at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester, NH 03102.
