Violet (Moquin) Francoeur, 82, of Manchester died September 15, 2002 at Villa Crest nursing home after a long illness.
Born in Manchester on April 2, 1920 she was the daughter of Alfred and Deniza (Alexander) Moquin. She was a lifelong resident of Manchester.
Mrs. Francoeur worked in housekeeping at Velcro USA retiring in 1984, after many years of service. An avid card player, and bingo player, she was a familiar face at many of the senior centers throughout the Manchester area.
She was predeceased by two husbands, Rene Lacasse in 1958, and Joesph Francoeur in 1976.The family includes three daughters, Yvonne Labrecque, and Deniza Chase both of Manchester Lorraine B. wageling of Loudon; one son Rene Lacasse of Florida; 13 grandchildren , 25 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren; a sister Lorraine Mulrooney of Florida; a brother Thomas Moquin of Manchester; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Thursday September 19, 2002 in Our Lady of Perpetual help Church, 266 Cypress St. Manchester. Burial was in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
