Violet G. (Bourque) Lemon, 88, of Goffstown died February 9, 2005 at her residence after a brief illness.
Born in Manchester on February 2, 1917, she was the daughter of Phillippe and Clara (Beliveau) Bourque. She was a lifelong resident of the Manchester area.
Mrs. Lemon worked at J.F. McElwain Shoe Company in Manchester for many years. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary at Jutras Post, the Association Canado-Americaine and the West Side Center.
She was married to Harry H. Lemon who died in 1965.
The family includes three daughters, Muriel Pronovost of Stuart, FL and Carmel Smart and Constance Puglisi both of Hooksett; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; a sister, Hectoreine Hebert of Manchester; nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Saturday February 12, 2005 in Parish of the Transfiguration, corner of Kelley and Youville streets, Manchester. Committal prayers followed in Mt. Calvary Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester. Burial was in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester assisted the family with arrangements.
