Violette Groulx

Violette Groulx (Caron), 90, of Manchester, passed away February 12, 2026 surrounded by love, leaving behind a legacy stitched together with kindness, laughter, and devotion to her family.

She was born in Manchester on October 19, 1935 to Lucien and Beatrice (Lemire) Caron, and was one of six children.

Violette found joy in life’s simple pleasures —playing BINGO with her sisters, the gentle rhythm of her crochet hook while Gunsmoke or Andy Griffith played on the TV, singing off-key with a big smile, always having something cooking on the stove or fresh from the oven to offer anyone who visited her, a cold glass of sweet wine, traveling to Florida and Vegas with her husband of 70 years, Bob, swinging on her porch swing with her granddaughter, and the laughter shared with those she loved most.

Violette is survived by her sisters, Sandy and Collette and her brother, Roger. Her children, Missy and Michael and her grandchildren Alexis and Branden. She was predeceased by her brothers, Junior and Normand and her husband Bob.

Though she will be deeply missed, her warmth, strength, and laughter live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

SERVICES: A cemetery committal service will take place at a future date at the NH State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen.
