Violette A. Houle

Violette A. Houle, 89, of Manchester, died May 13, 2002, at Mt. Carmel Nursing Home, after a lengthy illness.

Born in Manchester, October 2, 1912, she was the daughter of Wilfred and Estelle (Lambert) Beliveau. She was a lifelong resident of this city.

She and her husband, Arthur J. Houle, who died in 1983, owned and operated Houle's Beauty School for many years.

She was a communicant of St. George Church and a member of the Sodality of St. Anne of that parish.

She enjoyed being with her family and friends. She also enjoyed doing needlepoint and gardening.

Family members include a son, Raymond W. Houle of Manchester; 4 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; a sister, Yvette Bedard of Manchester; a sister in-law, Imelda Beliveau of Manchester.

She was predeceased by a brother, Lionel Beliveau, and a sister, Yvonne Belanger.

A mass of Christian burial was celebrated Wednesday May 22, 2002 in St. George Church. Her grandson, Father Angelus, was the celebrant. Burial was in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
