Virginia E. Stone

Virginia E. Stone, 88, of Hooksett, died August 10, 2024.

 Born on June 8, 1936, she was the daughter of Latzi and Mary (Korath) Philippy. She graduated from Hesser College.

 Virginia retired from the VA Medical Center in Manchester after 25 years.

 She loved to travel, garden, read, animals and study and discuss politics and art with family and friends. She was a 20 year member of the Granite State Ambassadors. She was devoted to her Christian faith her whole entire life and a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.

 She is survived by her daughter, Donna Stone of Hooksett; her sister, Janice Ott of Williamsburg, VA; many nephews, nieces and cousins throughout NH, VA and OR; as well as many feline friends who miss her dearly.

 A graveside funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 15th at noon in Pine Grove Cemetery, Manchester.

 Donations may be made in her memory to either Immanuel Lutheran Church, 673 Weston Road, Manchester, NH 03103 or to the Manchester Animal Shelter, 490 Dunbarton Road, Manchester, NH 03102.
