Vivian M. (Fortier) LaCombe, 95, formerly of Manchester, died March 8, 2017 at Hillsborough County Nursing Home in Goffstown after a period of declining health.
She was born in Manchester on November 11, 1921 to Achilles and Jeanne (Caron) Fortier. She lived in Manchester for most of her life and had wintered in North Ft. Myers, FL for 21 years.
Vivian had been actively involved in school and church activities, including the Ladies of St. Anne at St. Anthony Parish in Manchester and as a recruiter for the Oblate Retreat House in Hudson. She enjoyed playing golf, reading and was an avid bridge player
She was predeceased by her high school sweetheart and husband of 46 years, Alfred LaCombe in 1990 and two siblings, Andre Fortier and Viola "Jill" Liebold.
The family includes four children, Andre LaCombe and his partner, Linda Waters, of Tennessee, Paul LaCombe and his wife, Diane, of Florida, Michelle Boisvert and her husband, Richard, of Goffstown and Lawrence Lacombe and his wife, Trish, of Bedford; 12 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
A funeral ceremony was held on Monday, March 20, 2017 at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North Street, Manchester. Committal prayers followed at Mt. Calvary Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
