Walter A. "Wally" Barbeau, Jr., 40, of Litchfield, passed away unexpectedly at his home.
He was born on February 16, 1977 to Walter A. Barbeau, Sr. and Carol A. (McLane) Lambert. He was a lifelong native of New Hampshire and a graduate of Goffstown High School.
Wally made his career as a skillful carpenter. He was known to "swing a hammer" as precisely as he could a baseball bat in his earlier years. He found his greatest happiness and gratitude in tending to his garden, fishing, golfing, music, humming birds, loving and spending time with his dogs, friends and family.
Wally made an impression upon our hearts and mark on the world with his charismatic presence, generosity and basic goodness of his character.
He was predeceased by his father.
He is survived by his loving mother, Carol A. (McLane) Lambert and stepdad, Valerian Lambert, both of Hobe Sound, FL; siblings, Mark Vincent of Key West, FL and Tammy Talbot of Weare; a stepbrother, Thomas Lambert of Gilmanton; a stepsister, Valerie Peacock of Bar Harbor, ME; siblings spouses and aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
SERVICES: A graveside cemetery committal service is Saturday (8/26) at 10 a.m. at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester. A celebration of Wally's life will follow immediately at the Karanikas Compound, 64 Mountain Rd., Goffstown. Memorial donations may be made in Wally's honor to Hope for NH Recovery, 293 Wilson St., Manchester, NH 03103.
