Wanita Fortin

Wanita (Bolduc) Fortin, 88, of Allenstown died December 29, 2007 at Catholic Medical Center, Manchester after a brief illness.

Born in St. Odilon, Quebec on November 29, 1919, she was the daughter of Romeo and Anysie (Giguere) Bolduc. She lived in Manchester most of her life and moved to Allenstown in 1998.

She was a member of the Catholic War Veterans Ladies Auxiliary at St. Therese Church in Manchester and served as its first secretary. She was also a member of the St. Therese Rosebush Society and the Suncook Happy Singers.

She was married to Maurice G. Fortin who died in 1998.

The family includes five children, Ronald A. Fortin of Pensacola, FL, Robert J. Fortin of Allenstown, Jacqueline Mihalyi of Lowville, NY, Donald L. Fortin of Allenstown and Paul E. Fortin of Dover; 14 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Wednesday January 2, 2008 at St. Marie Church, 378 Notre Dame Ave., Manchester. Committal prayers followed at Mt. Calvary Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
