Wayne M. Turnbull, 67, of Hooksett, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at home surrounded by family. He was born on February 1, 1959 in Lowell, MA.

Wayne proudly served in the United States Army as a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne. He earned an Associate’s degree in computer science from Hesser College, and worked as a computer systems engineer. He loved the outdoors, fishing, scuba diving, cutting and splitting wood, recycling scrap metal, listening to rock n roll just a little too loud, and riding his Harley whenever he could. He loved spending time with family, especially his grandchildren and his beloved dog Callie.

Wayne is predeceased by his parents: Lee F. and Josephine (Wieczhalek) Turnbull, and Wayne Herbert and his wife Grace; as well as his best friend: Ron Laferriere.

Wayne is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years: Diane (Bournival) Turnbull; his two daughters: Allison Kellett and her husband William, Jennifer Turnbull and her husband Stephen Frechette; his five grandchildren: Teyla, Jackson and Riker Kellett, Logan Turnbull, Owen Frechette; his three siblings: Joseph Turnbull and his wife Cheryl, Lisa Jennings and her husband Chris, Glenn Turnbull and his wife Michele; his three half siblings: Scott, Matt and Katie Herbert; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

SERVICES: Calling hours will be held on Monday, March 16, 2026 at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Burial with military honors will be held in the spring at the New Hampshire Veteran’s Cemetery, Boscawen.
