Wendell J. Lough

Wendell J. Lough, 90, of Hooksett, NH died July 7, 2016 at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.
Wendell was born in Mannington, West Virginia on June 23, 1926, the son of Fleming "Goff" and Grace (Martin) Lough. He was a graduate of Farmington High School, Farmington, WV in 1943, then proceeded to serve in both the U.S. Army and Air Force. He achieved his degree in mechanical engineering from West Virginia University in 1949, thanks to the GI Bill.
Wendell married his wife, Peggy (Huey), also of Mannington, WV, in 1954. Together their family grew across several states as Wendell was transferred in his job as an engineer at Westinghouse. After retiring as President of Weber Technical Products in Lawrence, MA, Wendell and Peggy moved from their 30 year home in Hampstead, NH to the "paradise" of the Villages, FL, where bocce and golf were his pastimes.
Wendell was predeceased by his beloved wife of 59 years, Peggy L. (Huey) Lough, in 2013.
Family includes three sons, Michael Lough and wife Joan of Hooksett, NH, Alan Lough and wife Leah of Arlington, VA, and Brian Lough of Vancouver, WA, and his daughter, Carol Greene and husband Joshua of Port Townsend, WA; four grandchildren, Philip and Jennifer Lough of Hooksett, NH; and Briar and Benjamin Greene of Port Townsend, WA; and several nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by his sister, Margaret Bradshaw; and brother, Harold Lough.
A private memorial is planned.
