Wilfred J. Stroup

Wilfred J. Stroup, 85, of Hooksett, died June 4, 2006 at the Hillsborough County Nursing Home following a brief illness.

He was born in Newburyport, MA, October 15, 1920 and was the son of Weston Stroup and Angeline (Deshane) Stroup. He retired from A.D.T Security Systems after 33 years of service.

He served in the US Navy during World War II.

IN HIS LIFE: He leaves his wife of 19 years, Victoria Rossetti Stroup of Hooksett N.H; a daughter, Lisa Simone of Goffstown N.H. and her friend Bonnie Ewing; a grandson Joshua James Ewing Simone; 3 sisters Eunice Vital, Lillian Kesseler, and Lois Anderson, both of New York.

SERVICES: A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Friday June 9, 2006 at Holy Rosary Church, Main St., Hooksett. Burial with full military honors followed in Holy Rosary Cemetery.
