William A. Champagne, 82, of Goffstown, died October 1, 2024 at Elliot Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.

Born October 16, 1941, he was the son of the late Albert and Beatrice (Dunklee) Champagne. He attended high school in Nashua. He proudly served in the US Marine Corp. for 4 years before being honorably discharged at the rank of Corpral in 1966. William worked as a truck driver for 40 years, beginning his career with St. Johnsbury Trucking for 12 years and later trucking in Scarboro, ME for 12 years, before retirement. He worked part time with FedEx Ground for many years before his final retirement in 2003.

William enjoyed time spent camping, dancing and absolutely loved his dogs, especially Midnight. Above all else, he will be remembered as a devoted and very loving husband, step father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.

Surviving family members include his wife of 46 years. Sally J. (Adams) Champagne of Goffstown; three stepsons, William Bouttilier of Concord, Robert Boutilier and wife Heather of Concord and Scott Boutilier and wife Becky of WA; ten great grandchildren; one sister Sylvia Welch and husband Kenneth of Derry; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one step son, Richard Boutilier in 2014; and three sisters, Rochelle, Caroline and Vicky.
