William Brazawski

He was born in Manchester on November 28, 1936 to William and Victoria (Valesco) Brazawski. He graduated from Central High School in 1955 and attended Lowell Tech. He was a lifelong resident of Manchester.

Bill was a very proud member of the New Hampshire Air National Guard for 36 years. He served at Grenier Field in Manchester and at Pease Air Force Base in Portsmouth and retired as a chief master sergeant. In retirement he worked at Total Med in Manchester for several years.

He enjoyed getting together with his military friends at Belmont Hall in Manchester, fishing, bowling and helping out at Youngsville Little League. He especially enjoyed time with his family, including visits to his son and three grandchildren in Virginia and traveling to visit his daughter in California.

He was predeceased by two brothers, George Brazawski and Edward Brazawski and a nephew, Ronnie Brazawski.

The family includes his wife of 52 years, Ann (Castonguay) Brazawski of Manchester; two children, Hollie J. Hayden and her husband, Michael, of Thousand Oaks, CA and Michael W. Brazawski and his wife, Petra, of Gainsville, VA; three grandchildren, Hunter, Anya and Garrett Brazawski; two sisters in law, Julia Brazawski of Manchester and Janet Hansen of Philadelphia, PA; and nieces.

The family would like to thank the staff at CMC Intensive Care Unit for the wonderful care they provided to Bill.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Monday, April 8, 2013 at St. Catherine Church, Manchester. Committal prayers followed at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen.
