William E. Butler

He was born in Gorham, ME on November 18, 1929, the son of Ezra H. and Marjorie (Getchell) Butler. He served in the US Army from November 1948 to January 1970 and was honorably discharged.

He loved camping, fishing, and doing projects.

His wife Patricia (Waning) Butler died in 2005.

He leaves behind his son, William E. Butler Jr. of Phoenix, AZ; three grandchildren; two sisters, Elizabeth Knight of Ellsworth, ME and Martha B. Sweet of Gorham, ME.

Funeral services were private.
