William L. Chisolm, 69, of Manchester, died October 25, 2001, at Catholic Medical Center, after a brief illness.
Born April 10, 1932, in Georgetown, S.C., he was the son of William and Amelia (Limes) Chisolm.
He lived several years in Bridgeport, CT. and had been a Manchester resident the past 10 years.
While in Bridgeport CT. he owned and operated Bill's Auto Body. He recently had been working as a school bus driver for the Londonderry school district.
Mr. Chisolm served in the Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict.
Family members include his wife, Blanche (Vaillancourt) Chisolm of Manchester; a daughter, Sharonda Chisolm of Bronx, NY; a son, Martin Chisolm of Bridgeport, CT; 6 grandchildren; 3 brothers, Eugene Chisolm of Bridgeport, CT., Nathaniel Chisolm of Columbia, S.C., and Melvin Chisolm of Waterbury, CT; a sister, Lorretta Chisolm of Manhattan, NY; nieces and nephews.
A mass of Christian burial was celebrated October 29th, St. Catherine Church, Manchester.
Following cremation burial will be at the convenience of the family.
