He was born April 17, 1942 in Lowell, MA the son of William J. and Alphonsine (Beaudry) Corbin. He grew up in Lowell and had been a Manchester resident the past 20 years.
William served in the US Navy during the Cuban Missile Crisis.
He worked as a mason.
He leaves his wife of 10 years, Jean V. (Jeffers) Corbin of Manchester; four children, W. Douglas Corbin of Kihei, HI, Maureen E. Clucas of Columbia, SC, James C. Corbin of Providence, RI and Jennifer L. Corbin of Indialantic, FL; three step children, Maj. Peter B. Markot of Clarkesburg, MD, Stephen B. Markot and Timothy B. Markot, both of Derry, NH; 3 grandchildren; 9 step grandchildren; a sister, Violet Daigle and former wife Judith Phillips Corbin, both of The Villages, FL; nieces and nephews.
A celebration of William's life took place on Thursday, June 6, 2013 at the Alpine Club, 175 Putnam St., Manchester, NH.
Burial will be in the NH State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen at the convenience of the family.
