William R. Lallas, 75, of Manchester, NH died June 20th, 2016 at the Catholic Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Lowell, MA on June 6th, 1941, he was the son of George M. and Marjorie (Flynn) Lallas Sr. He was a graduate of Keith Academy in Lowell and earned his bachelor's degree from Boston College.
Prior to retirement, Bill had taught Spanish at Robinson and Bartlett Middle Schools in Lowell for many years. He enjoyed his annual trips to Spain where he would oversee his students from Spanish class. Prior to his illness, he had been active in bowling leagues and Lowell teachers golfing leagues.
He was predeceased by his brother George M. Lallas Jr.
Family members include his wife, Patricia (Hebert) Lallas of Manchester; his step-daughters, Gayle Blanchard and husband Matthew of Manchester, Maureen Williams of Pinardville; his step-grandchildren, Kori, Kris, Angela and Scott; his step-great-granddaughter, Sophia Lee Williams; his children, William Lallas of Manchester, Scott Lallas of Maine, Robert Lallas of Farmington, and Sheri Turner of Bridgewater, MA; ten grandchildren; nephews, nieces and cousins.
A brief memorial service was held on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 in the chapel at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St, Manchester. Encryptment will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum at the convenience of the family.
